siamo onorati e particolarmente emozionati nell’annunciare che a Nomadica sono state affidate le macchine del cinema di Pierfrancesco Bargellini, uno dei filmmaker più radicali, fantasiosi, sovversivi, tecnicamente pazzeschi! uno dei cineasti che sentiamo più vicini, soprattutto per la relazione che intreccia la vita e le immagini, lasciando alla porta ogni interesse economico, smania di carrierismo, di speculazione.

 la moglie Oriana e la figlia Rebecca hanno scelto di tenere in vita questa attrezzatura, e siamo felici che chi partecipa alla nostra workroom potrà farne esperienza.
di lui Marco Melani scrive: Piuttosto che davanti o dietro alla sua macchina da presa, Pierfrancesco era dentro, impastato ai fantasmi che la luce e i bagni di sviluppo producono sulla emulsione della pellicola. Si potrebbe paragonare la sua vita di cineasta a quella di un artigiano impegnato nel tentativo di riparare uno specchio infranto. Una volta magicamente riuscitoci, continua a levigarlo fino al giorno in cui lo specchio si apre per lasciarlo penetrare nelle sue oscurità senza ritorno.

Marco Melani wrote of him: Rather than being in front of or behind the camera, Pierfrancesco was inside it, mingling with the ghosts that light and developing baths conjure upon the film’s emulsion. One could compare his life as a filmmaker to that of a craftsman striving to repair a broken mirror. Once he miraculously succeeded, he continued to polish it until the day the mirror opened, allowing him to penetrate a darkness from which there is no return.
